- Editor's Notes
- Great resistance to running wires on housetops, for fear of lightning. But can get right to run wires in city sewer system; right is revocable & previously given to Gower. While we were trying to form co to work Edison teleph for Banque Franco Egyptienne, the city refused to let Edison and Gower cos both to run wires; tantamount to an injunction to amalgamate. Discusses legal obstacles to combination. Value of TAE's share not lessened by agreement. Do Gower stockholders have to vote on agreement? TAE note: "Grif read these over & see if I have to do anything [illeg]."
