- Reminds him of prior conversation about electric traction and thanks him for equipment TAE sent him; he used it to give a paper "before the Academy, to correct and neutralize the impression given a year ago in favor of the Maxim lamp. Also calls his attention to article in Nature of Nov. 3 which praises his lighting system. Wants to meet with TAE for about an hour on Friday. [recommend select: builds on barker documents selected for vol. 5 and gives some details about electric traction work.]
