- Editor's Notes
- Cleaner and re-worded version of doc. D8120ZAU. Maxim's company, in competition with TAE, got contract to light a ferry boat of Penn. RR. Says that Maxim is guilty of "the most shameful infringement" of TAE's patent. But the "'scientific impossiblity' the subdivision of the electric light was accomplished by me." Calls Maxim a "pirate company who appears on the field over a year afterwards." Rails at Penn RR doing this considering that "the exhibition of this very light has brought over 70 000 people over the Penna RR to see it in operation at Menlo Park" long before Maxim's lamp. Wants him to talk to Cassatt (pres. Penn RR) about this. Consider for inclusion. (DH)
