- "The boiler was tested yesterday and steam is on today. Saturday we shall run the engine. The pulley fro the belt from the balance wheel of the engine was ordered too narrow; we are waiting a wider and larger one. The three lines of pumps try our patience by taking so much current. When all the lamps are on they are very low. We always take off half to bring up the remainder."
