- The expt Nichols tried was to pass current from one machine through armature & magnets of another, to find the pull at starting. Fifteen lbs at 30 in radios. This for Prof Young's info. Trouble in machine was behind his control: a cross. PS Logan says machine crossed in armature & magnet.
