- Test discrepancies: lamps have resistance of 125 ohms, and are 10 per hp as measured by calorimeter. But electrical tests show only 9 per hp. Marshall and Howell have been testing the measurement standards by using instruments borrowed from Princeton. Better tests show lamp resistance of 140 and not 125 ohms. Lamps for Paris are 95 volts.
