Thanks [--]E Apr. 6" Author wrote that he was in Rio de Janiero to see an exhibition of electric light, but it was a bust; didn't work. Edison's representative said that problem was that someone shorted two open wires; wouldn't give a "direct reply" as to why didn't bring spare armature. Description of a Siemens machine which "worked beautifully."
