- "The machines at the Opera house are working splendidly but there is this trouble with all at first; after a good 5 hours run with full load on they all rub on the magnet heads.." Can't tell this in the shop unless run them 5 hours under full load. Also need to resolder some of th ebrass wires. Says TAE solders too far apart. Lighted the opera foyer for Johnson. "The foyer is very fine but in my opinion the 250 full lights I have in the Grand Escalier at the Exposition (showing off the pictures so well as they do) are a finer exhibition of lighitng. There is very much better satisfaction in running a lot of lights from one big machine than bothering with a lot of belts & commutators"
