Title
[D8132ZBG], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles Batchelor, November 2nd, 1881
Editor's Notes
gives prices of various articles used in electric lighting. Says lamps cost 38 cents to make but must sell at 35 b/c contract with Edison Electric Light Co. Reason for high cost is the "great expense in experimenting." Gives prices for feeders, conductors, service box, dynamos, and everything except foundation required to set up a station and system.
