- Seaver is in Brussels concluding arrangements to form company in Belgium. "Societe Belge et Hollandaise d'Electricite registered on Nov. 23 and capitalized at F5M. Urges necessity of occupying the field first. Also pleased with results of British RR lighting trials; will send newspaper reports. Also Thompson demonstrated using Faure cells to light Edison lamps, and Solicitor General ruled that Faure patents were valid. Says that Porges is highly regarded in Paris. Urges develop 100 cp lamp to compete w/ arc for public lighting.
