- Has put "all our men" on the payroll of the different companies from Nov. 15. Has had difficulty starting mfg b/c hard to find a suitable factory; looked at 53 w/in 100 miles Paris. Final image is illustration of the factory Batch found. Porges "is a very peculiar man." Gets things done "by simply making him believe that he is the originator of the desire to have the thing I want." Says he blusters in mtgs then shuts up after a few minutes and goes along.
