Title
[D8135ZAJ], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Thomas Alva Edison, August 9th, 1881
Editor's Notes
Re quadruplex and getting Green's permission to get one delivered. Cabled TAE to "send new set and send as many small dynamos as possible." Herz "frankly admitted" that he didn't take telephone in 1877 b/c he was broke. Batchelor still thinks he doesn't have any money "but simply pulls the ropes for some syndicate--He is on intimate terms with Preece." Met Preece who seemed glad to "bury the hatchet."
