Wrt European patents, would it suit you to make an arrangement with young Butler, working with Armengaud and other patent agents elsewhere in Europe? Apparently Butler is affiliated with Maxim, and wants to detach him from Maxim. "You know of course Butler's relations with Pope & with Baldwin & Co."
