[Written from NY law office]. Mr. Corcoran says "windmills are not to be relied upon where anything like steady power is wanted." Need 20 mph wind to work 25 ft mill, providing 6.5 hp; tower would cost $850. Average windspeed only 7.5 mph. "Mr. Pierce of artesian well notoriety says substantially the same thing."
