- Record of laboratory work: copper cells for meters, "making patterns for paris work," "making lamps for paris." For factory: "grinding lamps" (ground glass?), socket mould machines (4 finished, 1 being altered), mach for panting sockets (2 made) tools for planing fibers, iron forgings, winding armatures. Porter engine "is all ogether again and running had run all the afternoon never run so well the magnets is in place all ready for use."
