Can tell you that Maxim not entitled to patent on small lamp he claims as his invention, which was invented in 1858 and has been used in mines, underwater, etc. Will put information at your disposal; former director of Belgian Royal Museum (now member Amn Institute) also willing to testify. "I suppose you know that I claim to be the first and true inventor of the telephone for which I have been working and making experiments since 1849….." Reviews his caveat, pat apps. Would like to talk with you. {potentially selectable as a horse-trading offer and to acknowledge Meucci}
