You wrote 2 letters to Gould; send me copies. "An apparent want of cooperation now may prove fatal. I have insisted at all times in my talks here that your interests & mine must be treated as identical .....Do nothing that will [?] you & freeze me out." Have offer of new capital. Marg: "I merely asked Gould if it would not be a good time to settle that little matter about Auto. Another letter was about him coming down to Menlo I think to see the light. I never went back on anybody. I want what is due me so do you. If my taking my own will prevent you getting yours then I don't take a dam'd cent="
