- Editor's Notes
- Gower abruptly withdraw from talks to purchase his interest here, which EHJ and I thought were nearly complete. Gower then announced plans for British Gower-Bell Co. but I quickly floated stock (of Oriental Co?] and Gower's brokers came to me seeking to re-open negotiations. These have been concluded, and subscriptions to the Consolidated Construction Co. will open Monday and close on Wednesday, that's how confident I am. This finally gets Gower out of the way, without which it would've been impossible to float Consolidated Construction stock even if you had sent the papers I cabled for repeatedly. Send ASAP documents previously requested for Europe.
