Title
[D8204ZFR], Letter from William Elasker to Thomas Alva Edison, August 17th, 1882
Editor's Notes
After reading in his German paper about the new field of Electricity, he writes to TAE about his 18 yr old son, who just finished high school with high honors; would like some information how he could get him into the field. [TAE replies: "Referring to yours of 17th August There is no place where instruction is give of the character you desire for your son The only way would be to get him a position in some first class Electrical concern. You might apply to the Edison Electric Light Co 65 Fifth avenue New York"] {annote with D8204zha}
