Editor's Notes
Asking TAE 2 questions he couldn't answer. 1) What should be the _x000d_ distance maintained between double coated copper wire, as ised for electric light and Telephone or Telegraph wire? 2) Is there any danger _x000d_of interference by induction? [TAE replies: "The amount of disturbance _x000d_to a telephone wire by induction from an Electric light wire depends _x000d_first upon the quality of the current given off from the dynamo if _x000d_intermittant (1) not very continuous it will effect the telephoneseriously. The induction will be at the square of the distance from the _x000d_inducing wire = parties will have trouble with telephone wires on same _x000d_poles with E L wires - Leakage from E L wires through insulation & pole _x000d_to telephone wire will also [?]"]
