Jacobson had some relations with you with respect to matters in Washington. Can you give me any information in regard to the matter, and in respect to the propriety of Mr. Chandler's claim?" TAE reply: "Referring to yours of 18th Jacobson went to Washington on his own account he had no connection witht eh Co or authorization to act for us He was trying to get the chandler job"
