- A Tribune reporter called this PM and showed an affidavit from Sawyer, stating that he is the inventor of the Edison light; that it is also a "complete failure" b/c costs 4x gas. Reporter also said that he had impression that Prof. Draper "invented a good deal of your light." Interviewed Eaton who tried to set him straight.
