- Finally hrd fr Barker, altho time is short for him to deliver Montreal lecture. Letter fr. Phila Ledger saying that another switch has caught fire. Bldg engr is growing impatient w/ installation. Wants confirmation that suit begun agt Swan in London; can we mention in Bulletin? Agreement w/ Borden: he to get $6K annual salary and5% commission on dynamo sales only. Re Crystal Palace: "Everybody seems to have got a gold medal. The only point I can make in the Bulletin is that your gold medal was for a complete system and in that repect was unique." "I have asked Clarke as you requested to prepare a curve showing the saving in copper alone when resistance is increased from 140 to 330."
