Editor's Notes
Rcd your cable: "You must authorize me draw immediately on ordering for your account. I promise payment and am greatly compromised by your not providing me with funds. Been working some time on resistances will ship in two weeks. Cannot have nickel moulds made here unless you guarnatee importation will not vitiate patents. Will make mercury cocks in lots amid amber [--ents?]." Couldn't understand first part; cabled you at leat 8 hours before about 4,000 credit then saw Bailey had made terms 3 days sight. This was probably an oversight and instructed B to arrangement for you to draw at sight. "Your letter to Porges tickles the old man so that he does not [know?] where he stands." Saw consul but they're waiting to take my testimony, probably for notice from your side of Atlantic. Think Force's testimony not necessary; he's at St. Petersburg, in 3 weeks he'll go to Finland. "Strasbourg plant never missed an hour since we patched it and it runs from sunset to sunrise."
