- Didn't make reports last week owing to press of business and Bailey's illness. Discusses management (committees of) the manufacturing co. Refers to "financial crash." Discusses formation of new societes for making arrangements in Germany (including starting factory). Mentions Italian plans. Spain: about to close contracts. Russia: good exhibitions there and Finland; Nottbank has M. Force with him; organizing for southern Russia & Polish Russia. Austria-Hungary: Francis Puskas ordered 2 plants for Budapest; will participate in Vienna electrical exhibition; may light Parliament house there. Belgium: may light Chamber of Deputies, etc. Denmark: nothing definite. Holland: about closed for installation at Amsterdam café. Romania: prospects in Bucharest. [This could be useful reference regarding European plans, especially if anything comes of them; but too long to select at 14 pages]
