- [from Paris] Working on getting the pump room operating. Have already started plating and socket rooms; [illegible about testing room]. Have made some lamps; using them as resistance lamps. First machine works OK but haven't worked it hard yet. Looking forward to being recalled to experimenting at Menlo.
