Title
[D8238ZCR], Letter from Joshua Franklin Bailey to Thomas Alva Edison, August 30th, 1882
Editor's Notes
[from NY] Pls advise about automatic regulators. Paris says the 12 they ordered have not arrived and they've heard nothing for 4 months. Need for 100 cp lamps urgent (to replace arc lighting). Upton says good ones can't be delivered before 2 months. Very desirable to show some at Munich and also at [Br---]. Upton says some 50 and 100 cp lamps can be made in 5 or 6 weeks, but won't guarantee their life; can we get 50 of each on these terms in time for opening of Munich expo in mid-October?
