- Editor's Notes
- Confirming verbal order of equipment for Milan central station. This is just a summary; you and I agreed that TAE will add and omit what he thinks necessary. Committed to starting station by 12/26; expect TAE will also make necessary arrangements with all the firms that will supply parts for the plant, and understand he will get us most favorable prices from his companies. List includes 1400 light dynamo, lamps, meters, tubes, etc. Milan station will prove the possibility of introducing light into theaters on large scale; will have 1400 lights in largest theater in the world. Acheson to remain in Italy until it's working; Batchelor to personally inspect before start-up. Consider it "abolustely necessary" to have Lieb come from Pearl St. to help set up station. Please acknowledge all this in writing.
