- Title
- [D8238ZFB], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Thomas Alva Edison, December 20th, 1882
- Editor's Notes
- No. 405. Rcd your and Eaton's joint cable "Have not founders shares been shipped." Ansd immediately "No abdomen (Bailey) wanted setlement with ablution (Leon) will be finished this week." Set meeting with Porges but Bailey says I must not receive shares until he has answer to his letter to Eaton of the 19th. Founders shares are made to "Bearer" and B fears if they're in my hands (even though for the Co) Porges would take advantage of Continental Co's Article 5 but I think this too cautious. Asked Porges for 20% of shares in name of Light Co so as to make immediate settlement.
