Title
[D8248C], Letter from Lemuel Wright Serrell to Thomas Alva Edison, January 11th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Fabbri & Lowrey want [ELight] patents in S. Australia & Tasmania. "They do not think it safe to put more than one English patent in one patent there, but desire you to look over English patents and designate which ones you consider absolutely necessary" to protect inventions now employed. Extensive TAE marg on reverse specifies which claims from 18 Brit. patents should be used; "Should also include *meter*--described but not claimed" in pats; also conductors.
