- Editor's Notes
- Re-introducing selves as Serrell's British agents. See your patent business has passed into other hands and worry that public will draw adverse inferences. Our relationship with LSW has always been that he draws the specifications. NOw feel free to say we disagree with decision to put disclaimer biz in other hands; few firms here more familiar with electric subjects. Would suggest that after Serrell or other US agent prepares specs then send them to us. We will make "special search" and "settle the claims accordingly and in accord with the law and practice here. Would also like some cases in our names as communications from you. we also handled your Continental and colonial pats, think they should all be managed by single firm---pls suggest this to Edison Cos here. British pat disclaimers are not uncommon and few valuable patents have not had them---so it doesn't prove negligence of agent.
