Title
[D8248ZAN], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Brewer and Jensen, May 2nd, 1882
Editor's Notes
Regret any actual or future injury caused by withdrawal of my patent cases. Statement from you that you acted solely as agent of NY solicitor would entirely clear your name. Decided to have pats go through one hand directly under my control rather than two parties, as was the case. Guided in selection by London business partners. Contintental patents taken out through attys of co in Paris. Would like you to continue handling annuities, etc., until Cos make arrangements with you or other parties.
