- W. Riley, inventor of single rail elevated rwy, who visited your ERwy, wants infor from you. Wants to know how many HP required to generate electricity to run your engine and draw 6 cars @ 4 tons each; probable cost, etc. Pls reply, he is "quite taken" with idea of using your engine. TAE marg: "We have one Loco here that can pull 4 cars 30 people each 20 miles per hour requires about 15 h p. Nearly finish single car with motor underneath 30 passengers 12 miles hour. 4 HP. Latter is best thing. Single car train plenty of them better than few trains many carry. Our 3 mile road running splendidly now."
