Encloses clipping from today's Minneapolis Tribune [follows] saying that Edison's electric locomotive is in the scrap heap. THis has city council breathing down my neck, wish you would have statement contradicted. In article, ocal prof. explains that it's uneconomical, also requires dangerous third rail. Says Siemens system also uneconomical. Discusses local company formed to apply battery power to locomotive.
