Editor's Notes
Re: yours of 24th. Please advise me of weight and cost of your machines most suited for local purposes, ie., working sounders. Also give armature resistance---as low as .01 ohm? Extensive TAE marg: "One of our Z machines could be wound to give say 3 volts. Its resistance would be 1/10,000 of ohm (one ten-thousandths). We have two armatures that are used in our regular Z machines, one of .035 ohm resis giving 55 volts & one of .14 ohm giving 100 volts. 500 lines of 100 ohms each could be worked from this machine........[discusses ft.lbs., elec losses]. Price of regular Z as above $1200 setup.= Current perfectly steady. We also make attachments to commutators whereby you can run several circuits from the same bobbin each having different volts." [might want to consider selecting for this marginalia about prospective new application]
