[written from the Graphic] About pasted-on clipping reprinting letter from TAE to NYSE, 24 August asking on what terms he could introduce a new quotation instrument which will be faster than present system. Article says communication is referred to committee. Goodsell says he wants to see TAE about this instrument, and if possible see it in operation; when? May be able to help you introduce it. TAE marg: "Will be at Pearl St station electric light from 12 until 5 pm every day. Wouldn't like to show apparatus until get permission from the Exchange."
