- Editor's Notes
- Addressed to the Committee of General Purposes of the London Stock Exchange. Husbands statement "As to the conduct or messrs. Arthur Anderson & Co. brokers and members of the London Stock exchange, in connection with the Anglo-Pacific Electric Light, Telephone and Power Co., Ltd." About engagement of Arthur Anderson to float stock of Husbands's Anglo-Pacific firm, despite its obligations to Gouraud re: Edison Electric Light Co. Accuses AA of deliberately sabotaging the float with rumors about the co; they displayed for him a cablegram from TAE that his name couldn't be used in connection with a Brush business. Husbands says he bought right to use TAE's name in connection with telephones, then found that Anderson, Gouraud and Johnson had somehow solicited the cable; blames AA for misconstruing it so as to eliminate competition the new Co might have presented to Gouraud's Edison Co. Continues for 8 printed pages. Prospectus follows as D8254C.
