- Title
- [D8255S], Letter from Samuel Insull to George Harrison Bliss, August 31st, 1882
- Editor's Notes
- Draft reply on D8255R: "The reason the European Telephone stock has not been deliverred to Western Electric is that I have been awaiting the arrival of Mr J. F. Bailey, as he is familiar with the European Telephone Co business. He has promised to give me an afternoon one day next week to go into this Coys affairs. Immediately after I shall be able to get the stock transferences. I am sorry there has been so much delay about this matter but it is owing to the fact that the business book place before I came to Mr Edison & my knowledge of it is consequently slight," etc.
