- Just returned from Continent and got your cable re: Handford's acct. Will charge amount to proceeds of Telephone Supply Co coming to you shortly. "This company you will remember was formed to take over a contract for the purchase of 4000 telephones entered into in connection with the Oriental Telephone Co." After long negotiations, have agreement as follows: United Co. pays 5,000 to Consolidated; Telephone Supply forfeits 1,800 and pays 250 to Consolidated and goes immediately into liquidation (this month or next).
