spoke to TAE about "men at Menlo Park", Swanson out of work, "you can doubtless get him to run the engine, dynamo and boiler", Neil Van Cleve of MP drove locomotive and can "put it in shape", have written to Van Cleve, "stating that if you go to Menlo Park, you are to have all the facilities for doing whatever you wish to do there in connection with running the railroad on Friday"
