Title
[D8316BTX], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Phillips B Shaw, December 17th, 1883
Editor's Notes
Have yours of the 13th; congrats on lot in Middletown. Though will save in conductors and feeders, we already have the copper; we will estimate savings and try to recover from the Middleton Company, though we lose the interest on the capital that is tied up. Protest against lots selected after contracts are closed. Intend to put up a brick structure, not frame in both places. Report progress in Penna. Please inform us of your decision about the brick building in Piqua.
