Abstract

[consider for selection] Referring to the letter from Dwelley, 150 16 candle lamps would be plenty for Fall River. "If these local companies were permitted to do so they would put in sixteen candle lamps everywhere, wheras not one out of every ten could tell the difference between the ten and sixteen candle power lamp were they placed side by side. They should not be permitted to distribute sixteen candle power lamps over the Fall river system as they please, and we strongly advocate only supplying the consumers with a limited number."
