reply to letter of 3rd, seems to be some miscommunication, says he replied to letters, but TAE did not acknowledge, "I am anxious to know what you received as our telegraph messages have been 'off' for some time. For instance Mr. Mon- telegraphed me 'I will leave for Louisville Thursday night". This is what I received "Estelle leaves for Louisville Thursday night". I did not know what to make of it."
