You referred to "misunderstandings" regarding the bill for first district customers, were told "cost of edison light should not exceed that of their gas bills", according to contracts that I am *said* to have made. Will explain "duties of my late positition" Recall making such agreements only in two cases: Continental Fire Ins. Co and Berlin and Berlin and Jones # Eaton and Hasting should be able to back him up, defends his position and denies any wrongdoing
