"We understand that you guarantee us the trade of the Central Stations and instruct them to get the same from us. We will comply with your request and keep the article in stock in receipt of your reply P.S. Have just inquired of Mr Chinnock and found that he buys C.P. Sulph Zinc for 12 cents and only gets 100 to 500 lbs. at a time. Therefore unless there is a special reason for going to Powers & Wrightman we would certainly go where he does" TAE marginalia "The zinc P&W furnish is much better that what Chinnock gets it so makes specially for us. I want it definetely understand that you will buy from them the C.P brand and never change or try to get them cheaper stuff. We shall not guarantee anything but will instruct all local cos to buy [of you?]. Please answer if you understand E"
