- Title
- [D8325A], Letter from Sidney Borden Paine to Sherburne Blake Eaton, January 1st, 1883
- Editor's Notes
- "I have noticed in the papers recently several notices of the Brush-Swan storage system; in those articles a claim is made that a high tension current is cheaper than a low tension on account of the great cost of our conductors." Disputes this by pointing to low effeciency of batteries and problems with electrolysis and deposition in batteries. "You will pardon the suggestion, but as the matter is claiming so much of the attention of the public and is really of so much important that I have ventured to call your attention as above."
