- Editor's Notes
- Encloses letter from Mr. Klein "which hardly meets the necessities of the case at the Slater(?) Cotton Company. This plant is in a very delicate condition.." Lots of lamp breakage, partly their fault partly ours, "and the installation is balancing between dissatisfaction and an order to change 2 I's for 2 K's. By good management I hope it may come to the increased order, and the indicator is one of the means by which I hope so succeed." Went to Brockton last night. "Our men are canvassing but it is rather slow work."
