Title
[D8325V], Letter from Joseph Hutchinson to Thomas Alva Edison, April 1883
Editor's Notes
"The question of weight interferes with our procuring the balance of steamers of Old Colony Steamboat Co. Will you please give me the minimum weight of two dynamos of a combined capacity of 400 lamps, about 320 Amperes in gross. I will try and reduce weight of engines by having larger cylinders on small engines." TAE: "Reduce weight of Engines by increaseing speed-- Use 10 cp lights for steamboat a single 200 Lt machine should do the work & can give little extra margin by adding inch to dia field mag"
