- Editor's Notes
- "The question of weight interferes with our procuring the balance of steamers of Old Colony Steamboat Co. Will you please give me the minimum weight of two dynamos of a combined capacity of 400 lamps, about 320 Amperes in gross. I will try and reduce weight of engines by having larger cylinders on small engines." TAE: "Reduce weight of Engines by increaseing speed-- Use 10 cp lights for steamboat a single 200 Lt machine should do the work & can give little extra margin by adding inch to dia field mag"
