Title
[D8325ZCG], Letter from Spencer Borden to Thomas Alva Edison, September 1st, 1883
Editor's Notes
Major Eaton told me in confidence the cause of your embarrasment at the Machine Works It is deplobale and I hope the guilty party may be overtaken and punished It will not be good to let this occurance hinder your business beyond mesure I offer my assistance in any way possible; have helped my friends out of worse scrapes My book keeper Mr. Price is an expert accountant and in a capacity for auditing accounts in Fall River corporations during troubled times you can have him as long as you need him # The other matter is a man to take charge of the Machine Works I would suggest my Brother J. Borden who is one of the best mechanics and has much experience being an electrican; describes him and his past work
