Title
[D8326O], Letter from Schuyler Skaats Wheeler to Thomas Alva Edison, July 29th, 1883
Editor's Notes
[letterhead of EELCo] re our conversation about regulating pressure in the network by dropping feeders, the effect should be introduced as factor on the engine card calculations. The feeders are a resistance in series with the lamps; increasing their resistance by dropping some of them will cause the emf of station to rise and consequently just much more engine work will be required per lamp. Enitire letter goes on with techinal calculations and information. TAE marg: "tell him will talk it over with him."
